Televised Events

SagaEvents, alongside SagaFilm and Luxor, has produced a number of live televised events.

With our strong ties to SagaFilm, Iceland's leading production house and TV station Channel 2, Sagaevents is no stranger to televised events.  When these arise we work closely with everyone inolved and usually take on the role of co-ordinating everyone in the production while making sure our guests are having a brilliant time.

Edda Awards 

For the past 4 years SagaEvents has taken on the task of overseeing The Icelandic Film and Television awards (Iceland's Oscars) and one of the most watched TV programme of the year.  Whether it's the script, graphics, music, trailers, advertising, PR, staff, stage design, tickets, green room or seating plan we make sure it all falls into place on the night.

Bubbi 06.06.06 

One of our best televised events, it has to be said, was Bubbi's 50th birthday.  As Iceland's favourite musician this milestone in his life turned into a public celebration with thousands of people showing up for a two-hour concert and tens of thousands more watching the celebration at home.
